Daily UI #011 - FLASH MESSAGE

This is my 11th entry for the daily ui challenge. All credits are at the bottom of the image :)

As usual, I didn't try and go for anything revolutionary or original, but mainly something clear and understandable.

My reasoning behind the 2 designs was that if something goes according to plan, you don't need a huge popin to confirm something you already expected. In the case that something goes well, I think the interruption to the flow should be very small.

On the other hand, an error should attract your attention right away, and give you the proper course of action. Hence the 2 different designs, hope that makes sense :)

I picked Instagram as a theme for this because it's something (I think) we all use a lot and I thought it'd be interesting to work on something I thought I knew so well (turns out there are always details you don't notice!).

Just fyi, I have no idea how this actually works on Instagram for iOS.
