Shopify App Dashboard Redesign (WIP)

Hey there,

So recently we had the chance to redesign the dashboard of a Shopify application called Auto Currency Switcher. It lets merchants auto switch currency based on the location of audience.

The whole idea of the redesign was to make the experience a lot smoother and easier. For reference we have also attached the screenshots of the old dashboard.

For instance, a lot of users were complaining that the video would simply start playing as soon as one would start using the app. So, that experience had to be made non-intrusive. We digged into almost 1700 reviews to find problems and accordingly redesigned the dashboard to bring out a lot of hidden options which took a lot of clicks and scrolls for simple tasks.
