About the Beer: This German-style Dunkel, German for "Dark", lager yields a chocolate-like roasted malt and biscuit-like aromas from the specific use of Munich Dark in its malt bill. This beer does not offer an overly sweet impression, but rather a mild balance between malt sweetness and hop character. The hops are exclusively German Hallertauer, which add just a slight bitterness to this excellent true to the style brew. This brilliant ruby colored beer is extremely drinkable, rich and complex, without being heady or heavy.
