Earnin (ex-Activehours) provides small loans guaranteed by paychecks. They double down on the community aspect by asking the user to leave a small tip to support other users versus charging an obligatory fee.

We came up with a concept of the pay-it-forward chain and illustrated it with some playful visuals. The more you tip, the more people you will see in your unique chain.
