Magic Leap Avatar Style Copy

I wanted to create a self-portrait using Magic Leap's avatar style. They modified the circle profile to feel more organic and broke items out of the bounds for visual interest.

There's also nuanced treatments like other "shells" that are overlaid behind and on top of the spherical form and there's subtle grain applied. While I chose to use a more saturated stratified gradient in the background, ML uses a lot more desaturated treatments, likely to make the object stand out more.

All in all, I think it's a visually interesting take on the current zeitgeist of the circular avatar.
