Arriving in America
A long overdue share out!
Throughout the past year, I was lucky enough to design a website for the generous Henry Street Settlement, founded by Lillian Wald. For many immigrants during the early 1900's, this little place in NYC became a beacon of hope.
From caring to the sick and destitute to fighting for women's rights, Wald created a reputation that outlasted her generation. The exhibition, titled The House on Henry Street celebrates the settlements 125-year legacy by taking visitors on a journey through the early 20th century Lower East Side.
