Azores Oceanic Hub — Logo

The Azores Oceanic Hub is a project aiming to create an Atlantic shipping node — a high tech harbor — in Azores to improve the products and materials flow from and to Europe.

The logo's shape results from mashing together a shipping container and a wave, twisting themselves as a portrayal of exchange. It also creates this idea of a living thing, which sets up a parallelism with the Azores' whale sanctuary.

The logo can be paired in horizontal succession to recreate the ocean surface or a sailor's mooring line.
