Design Lab

Situation
Off the back of a design project that went awry, The Design Lab at UCSD's website was "lack luster" to say the least.

Task
I was brought on as the leading UX practitioner to redesign the website. I led a small group of students, professionals, and faculty through the design process.

Challenge
With stakeholders disappointment from the last brand agency, there was little patience for an in person workshop.

Action
So, our team decided to survey the stakeholders using Google Forms. With this tactic we were able to garner census via email.

Result
Here is the iPad landscape visual design of the home page. We used Particle.js and Wordpress to implement some of the look and feel of the original prototype.
