SmartHygge

In July, I attended Hack Midwest with a team of developers from Veterans United, where we created SmartHygge.

Contentment at home is paramount to a happy life and is often overlooked during the home search. With SmartHygge, we want to help the renter find their hygge place, based on their personality and lifestyle. The happier a renter is in their environment, the better the overall renting experience becomes for both parties. Not to mention, a more content life!

Using a wizard survey, SmartHygge gathers information about your specific lifestyle (as well as the non-negotiable, such as budget) and finds rentals for you, based on those results. It's a home search that starts with the renter, rather than the apartment.

In the 24 hours we were given, I created the branding, UI and illustrations for our team and passed onto our wonderful developers so put into action!
