Thanks @AroundCasanova for the invitation!
You never heard about the famous "negroni"? Let's fix it!
β€” RECIPE πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ³
One part gin, one part vermouth rosso and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel and a hand-carved ice ball
β€” History πŸ‘¨β€πŸ«
Florence, 1919. After a bad day, Count Camillo Negroni asked the bartender, Fosco Scarselli, to strengthen his favorite cocktail, the Americano, by adding gin rather than the normal soda water. The bartender also added an orange garnish rather than the typical lemon garnish of the Americano to signify that it was a different drink. (cf https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negroni)
