Landing vol.2 - Rainforests

Deforestation is considered to be one of the contributing factors to global climate change. Deforestation occurs around the world, though tropical rainforests are particularly targeted. If current deforestation levels proceed, the world's rainforests may completely vanish in as little as 100 years.

Rainforests:
-help stabilize the world’s climate
-provide a home to many plants and animals
-maintain the water cycle
-protect against flood, drought, and erosion
-are a source for medicines and foods
-support tribal people
