Shape, Color, Depth Exploration

More play with shape, color and composition. This time I wanted to avoid the use of black and see if I could mimic the gradient. Back in my art days, I was taught to never use a flat black in a piece... a trick to make sure your colors were luminous and had depth. This was kind of a mini exploration of that principle.
