A filter menu for oncology researchers

Earlier this year, I worked with our bioinformaticians and external designers from Science Practice to design a filter menu for Repositive's product, the Cancer Models Platform.

There were a number of challenges. Researchers have very specific requirements for the samples they're looking for. The data is messy, with samples inconistently described & labelled. And molecular characterisations more often results in ranges & confidence thresholds than simple 'Yes/No' annotation.

This screen is part of a Marvel prototype we used to test the design with users.
