Adam & Oliver Coffee Roasters

My most recent freelance project was a rebrand of an artisan coffee roaster named Adam & Oliver, who are based in the Cotswolds. This is the end result of a long process, Adam wanted to create different seasonal roasts each year but planned on starting with a house roast which he has spent years perfecting. With this in mind I wanted to give each roast a personality and a character starting with 'Regular Jo' the debut house roast.

My initial process was to come up with 3 different illustration styles for the client to choose from. The chosen style began as a stock illustration to help the client understand the direction, and I took that stock illustration style and improved upon it with my own illustration. I redrew this character from scratch in multiple different scenes using Adobe Illustrator on my MacBook, and Adobe Draw on iPad Pro.
