    Hey Guys!

    Many of you asked how this animation was made so I want to share this quick motion tip. You can easily fake 3D rotations with 2D assets in After Effects in just a few steps:

    1. Draw a layer of the texture 2. Create a shape layer, draw a mask 3. The masked layer should be above the textured layer 4. Use the texture layer function "Alpha Matte Mask" 5. Magic 🦄
