Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day observed in 10th of  October was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health. It is a day for global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma.

Every Year on 10th of October, thousands of people from all over the world, participate in this annual awareness program to create awareness about mental illness and its major effects on peoples' lives worldwide.

This poster design is to show that I support this cause and I like to create awareness about this major problem.

We care a lot about our look, about our environment, about our belongings but we forget to care about our soul and mental health.

This year theme of World Mental Health Day is

Young People and Mental health in changing world.
Young people are spending most of their day on the internet – experiencing cyber crimes, cyber bullying, and playing violent video games. Suicide and substance abuse numbers have been steadily rising, LGBTQ youth are feeling alone and persecuted for being true to themselves and young adults are at the age when serious mental illnesses can occur and yet they are taught little to nothing about mental illness and well being.

According to the World Health Organization:
--Half of all mental illness begins by the age of 14
--Growing recognition of the importance of building mental resilience
--Prevention begins with the better understanding
