KLM MyFlight app
For the past year, I’ve been creating digital tools together with the KLM team to empower KLM front-line staff.
One of this projects is the MyFlight app.
Unfortunately, I can’t disclose too much of this project online, but I can give a brief explanation of what it entails.
The MyFlight app provides KLM crew with the right information they need to execute their flights.
Think of important passenger related information, such as their Flying Blue tier level, but also other personalised information, like their meals preferences, information about their mobility and so on.
We also provide flight-related information, such as the crew members they're flying with, their work areas/tasks on board and how the specific service will look like on board of today's flight.
They're also able to upgrade/reseat passengers, send messages crew-to-crew and report all kind of flight-related information needed to improve KLM's overall operations.
By providing this information, we enable them to make better decisions, communicate more effectively, improve operations, and eventually serve our customers better.
