Challenges and Laughter

When was the last time you challenged yourself?

For me, it was last week. Normally, my lettering pieces can take anywhere from 5 to up to 20+ hours, and part of that is because I suffer from some serious perfectionism. I decided that I needed to give myself a bit of an exercise to try and break out of this in order to streamline my process. As such, I finished this project in one day when normally it takes multiple!

Is it perfect? Probably not, but then again perfection is a myth. This challenge helped me grow a little bit more as a letterer and also showed me how far I've come.

To any who are reading this right now, I challenge you to challenge yourself! Find some way you have been stuck in your own process, and give yourself some fun activities to try and grow from it. You'll be surprised what can happen!
