This is a logo I made for my nephew who at 8 years of age has been diagnosed with PANDAS.
PANDAS is short for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections. A child may be diagnosed with PANDAS when: Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and/or tic disorders suddenly appear following a strep infection (such as strep throat or scarlet fever)
A conservative estimate is 1 in 200 children in the U.S. alone. However, the true lifetime prevalence of PANDAS/PANS is not known.*his
