Moonlight App Icon Concept - Daily UI (Day 5)

I very much liked the idea of being tasked with creating an app icon. Ideas rushed through my mind. What do I make? How will it look? What will it be for? I think the hardest part, is getting that idea from your head, to the screen.

I like moons a lot for some reason. Whether it is huge harvest moons around Halloween, so solar eclipses, it just fascinates me. I wanted to design a simple moon, and perhaps this one is too simple. I am not yet comfortable with Illustrator nor Photoshop as I usually use Affinity products, but I am getting there. I want to push my boundaries to I continue to get better, and perhaps that will make the idea in my head, look identical to the one I put on the screen.

Very happy with the simple app icon I call "Moonlight." I imagine it being an app that lets you track where the moon is in real time, as well as what the moon will look like for the foreseeable future, whether full, half, or crescent.
