Daily005 - App Icon

I drew horses A LOT as a kid so I pretty much have their basic form committed to memory. Made the unicorn silhouette in Sketch without a reference which was fun.

However, lots of frustration lead up to this app icon. I tried 6 alternative ideas that all turned out really poorly. I spent about an hour and a half playing around with stuff that wasn't working and then spent less than 30 minutes actually producing this.

Lesson: I need to learn a lot more about iconography/app icons in general. Designing them is a challenge for me.
