Carré Care is the project of Els, a hairdresser. A few years ago, she got cancer and suffered a lot from the radiation therapy and the heavy medication. She had to stop working in her hair salon en needed a long time to become fit.
Now she started again with a hair salon, this time it’s a small one: especially for other cancer patients. She has everything to make their life more bearable, especially by making them look good – as often these patients feel as living in a battered body. Els does wigs, hairpieces, permanent make-up to simulate eyebrows and even prostheses and special lingerie.
