Sci-Fi UI #26 - Multi Pass

It's a Multi Pass, from Luc Besson's polarizing 1997 movie, The Fifth Element. I re-watched this film recently before creating this illustration and, love it or hate it, it is still as fun as I remember it being when I was a kid. One stand out design choice in the film has got to be the costume design by Jean Paul Gaultier. Gaultier was fully committed to this movie, creating over 5000 sketches for over 1000 costumes that are worn by all the cast, even those in crowd shots with very little screen time. This commitment of bright and outrageous outfits really adds something else to the movie, even 20 years later.
