Q for Quetzalcoatl

Quetzalcoatl: Is the god known as the Plumed Serpent is a mix of bird and rattle snake and his name is a combination of the Nahuatl words for the quetzal - the emerald plumed bird - and coatl or serpent.

#36daysoftype is an online invitation to designers and artists all over the world to create a letter a day. Divine Type is the name of the project for 36 days of type where faith, believes and visions about divinity of the most traditional and antique cultures are explored.

The graphic construction was made from taking a photograph of a traditional sculpture and mixing it with the first letter of the name of the deity, having as a result a graphic composition around typography. Also, every design had a brief description about the deity and its culture.
