Instagram Hand-cut icon

This project is based on both skeuomorphic and flat design principles.
Skeumorphic design imitates and flat design (over)simplifies objects. I tried to take the best from both principles - so I created flat icons in real world surroundings.
Icons were hand-cut from styrofoam, plastered with paper and placed on colored paper backgrounds.
