DREAM PROJECT \ A doll for each kid

DREAMS is a social project initiated by Dor Carmon Studio, in collaboration with the Hemato-Oncology Department of the "Safra" Children's Hospital, Tel Hashomer and under the auspices of Stratysis and Synergy.

As a senior designer at OTOTO studio, I was one of the 30 Israeli designers who were chosen to take part in the project, in which we received 2D illustrations drawn by children from the Department, in order to transform them into 3D characters.

I have immediately was drawn to Yoav's drawing – I loved the ingenuity and creativity manifested in the character, and I was fascinated and curious to turn this imagination into reality. It was very important for me to stick as close as possible to the original illustration of the child in order to see first in my mind and then in actuality his idea.

These 3D characters were then printed in a state of the art 3D printers and put up for auction at the "Fresh Paint" Art fair. All proceeds were donated to the Hemato-Oncology Department of the "Safra" Children's Hospital, Tel Hashomer, Israel.
