DailyUI :: 001

After attending a conference this past weekend, I felt inspired to do more work and hone my skills. I decided to tackle the 100 Days Daily UI Challenge from www.dailyui.co. I know I need something to hold me accountable and to push me.

My goals over these next 100 days are to design without constraints, add some more tools to my tool kit and to get faster at designing. Every morning I am going to spend one hour on a design. Here's the first one:

#001: Design a sign up page, modal, form, app screen.

Process: Found an image that I liked (thanks unsplash.com), built a color palette off it and then created a simple logo. From there I attempted to push myself with color, type (serif fonts, ooooh) and new layouts. Finished this in just over an hour and it still needs some work, but that's not the point. :)
