A Hero Rises (wip)

This piece is challenging me so deeply. I’ve long held that I’m not good at drawing literally anything like this: a cartoon style, non-photo-realistic, human bodies, clothes on humans, hands…and yet here I am. I’m so proud of myself for being as dissatisfied with my first draft for me to start it anew, take my time, study anatomy in the people around me (and my own left hand gripping a bottle!), and just push myself past my comfort zone into something better. Now on to the background and context…then, of course, the lettering.
