Visual browsing like never before
A visual experience designed to showcase MasterClass’ inspiring instructors, side-by-side, all ready to share their knowledge with you.
Details
The left animation sequence demonstrates panning around the wall of instructors. We added physics to the experience by giving interaction feedback by visually screw and delay cards on touch. We also incorporated haptic feedback with a subtle bounce when hitting the edge of the screen. The right animation sequence demonstrates how you progressively get to the details of a class. The subtle bounce on touch combined with haptics gives the user feedback, the instructor then scales up and immediately giving you a class preview. If you compare the grid layout on the left screen, you’ll see a larger 2-up scale with a more descriptive photography on the right. This scaling and art direction made big improvements when it came to scannability and to recognize instructors topics at a glance.
