Milk + Honey Lettermark

The lettermark designed for Milk + Honey, a cottage bakery in lovely Corpus Christi, Texas. The logo is constructed with clean geometry to reflect the pure ingredients used by Milk + Honey; its proportions are based on harmonious musical intervals to reflect the balanced flavor pairings created by Milk + Honey. To give the lettermark a touch of nostalgia, colors are carefully offset to harken back to imprecise printing methods from the past. I sketched the logo on paper, then refined the sketches in Illustrator before writing the CSS and SVG by hand to ensure perfect precision.
