Rebound Dark UI elements

I think that a "special" button should have some sort of colour to it: maybe because I relate white to a fresh slate or something? Also I thought white/monochrome colours should go with the other elements because it's the colour your using for the drop downs..

(Please feel free to completely reject my ideas and tell me I'm an idiot: I'm a bit scared of rebounding peoples' work!)
