Bane

Bane is my last entry to this Bat-villains exercise. I was reading comics at the time Bane came on the seen and he was this giant threat because of how tough and calculating he was. Him breaking Batman's back was a huge deal. And when the animated series decided to adapt the character into the series, i was super excited. He never successfully broke Batman's back, but he was officially part of Batman's rogues gallery and that was cool. Years later when they retooled the show and redesigned Bane with the black leather and red accents in the episode, Over the Edge, I feel is where the character really came into his own. There was never very many Bane episodes but when he showed up it was pretty special.
