Hulu for tvOS

As an Apple launch partner, our goal was to refine the Hulu application on the new tvOS platform using the new UI and gesture mechanics to fit into Apple’s eco-system. The main update was a new focus gesture which uses a “zoom” and “parallax” effect to cue the user: a completely new gesture for the 10ft experience.

Timing and limited information — due to the project’s secrecy — provided challenges in being launch-ready. We delivered on time and were considered to have the best “day 1” app for tvOS.
