The purpose of this project was to create a cohesive book series from the Barnes and Noble’s Classics series. Classics are less expensive books intended for students. I put together a series of four books for teenagers stuck between two worlds.
Becoming comfortable with who you are and feeling like you belong is hard for every teenager. It can be especially difficult when school life and home life seem like two different worlds. This series is meant to help these students know that they are not alone in the middle of disconnect. These four books were selected because the characters share similar experiences of collision, segregation, division, and assimilation.
