Magazine Cover

I was given a variety of images and had to select one to create a "fictional" magazine cover. I designed Savor with the image selected. I reversed the image in Photoshop but created the majority of elements in InDesign. I varied hierarchy depending on importance or interest of each "story/article". The slightly transparent circle backgrounds were made to help the text stand out for readability. The circle shape was selected to mimic the shapes of the baskets in the image. The background colors also mimic the colors found throughout the image as well. This is an awesome representation of hierarchy and consistency.
