Fragmente der Sprache der Liebe

2016 I participated in a lecture by Prof. h. c. Irmgard Sonnen. The task was to reinterpret Roland Barthes’ “A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments”. I’ve chosen mutiple “fragments” and added opening pages which 3D animations created in Maxon Cinema 4D. The shown animations were made of the “fragment“ titles itself. The layout seems more like a scientific report then a book with a love theme. In comparison the border of the pages are red died and under the clean dust jacket a transparent foil print is hidden. This is my interpretation of love – there is always something hidden and magical behind it and I took the texts of Roland Barthes more scientific then romantic.
