Deviating a bit on this prompt; rather than tracking humans boarding a vehicle, I’m tracking parts as they’re consumed by manufacturing processes and assembly. Just like a boarding pass, however, they still need tracked and tied to the operations and individuals they interact with. One major issue with digital tracking for parts of a high-performance, highly engineered machine, is that etching, printing, or using stickers may not be a possibility. Temporarily attaching QR tags to items and tying into inventory stocks can bridge the gap between the physical and digital.
