Skull Island
Lou Nickinello, owner, Skull Island Sports World, Cape Cod, Massachusetts opened his original course with his father Tony, in 1961. They bought 10 acres of land and built an 18-hole course, batting cages, and a driving range. It was a traditional flat course with lollipop and windmill obstacles.
The Nickinello family understands the value of tradition, but also realized that the course was in need of a major face-lift. When the Nickinello's approached RSW Advertising with the task of redesigning their website they were a little unsure of how to reach their audience. Wanting to appeal to a younger crowd, Hurley designed a new icon system that would give the brand some much needed revitalization.

John started from scratch on the decade-old website, using a combination of HTML5, SaSS, JavaScript, and PHP so the site would not only be mobile responsive, but would give the Nickinello family a way to send out course updates, such as weather or seasonal issues to the public.
