The Nutcracker

The story of the fairy-tale ballet The Nutcracker takes place at Christmas time and therefore the idea for the presented theatre poster is derived from motives that we can see at that time on gift wrapping paper. I have used elements such as ornaments, snowflakes, the Christmas tree, etc., which fill the entire space, making the imagery powerful if slightly kitschy, which fully matches the decoration of the real urban space in December, when the poster would have been on display. The poster was designed as part of my bachelor thesis.
