GuestCenter Version 8.1
GuestCenter’s in-service experience has evolved over many iterations, with each new feature set layered into the original experience framework. As we delivered more robust functionality for hosts, we’ve also introduced new usability issues and design limitations.
This week, we launched GuestCenter 8.1 for iPad and iPhone. Updates include building a more technically scalable framework, updating the visual language, and improving core user flows for hosts in the midst of a busy restaurant shift.
During the ideation and research phases, we worked closely with our sales team, field team members, and restaurant partners to get a deeper understanding of users’ pain points and needs around guest and table management.
This helped us define a clear vision for the first usability-driven update to GuestCenter. We’ll be moving quickly to add more improvements, functionality and features that aim to meet the operational needs of our restaurants.
