Elements for the new USL soccer franchise in Memphis, Tennessee. The team just unveiled the name and brand identity this past weekend, at 9:01 AM on 9/01 during the city's annual "901 Day" celebration. The look is reflective of the neon signs of the popular establishments on Beale Street, which is located right near the stadium. The crown is a reference to both Elvis Presley ("The King") and B.B. King, two artists synonymous with the city and its music, and the record grooves in the center are a nod to the city's famous Sun Studio, referred to as "The Birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll."
