St. Isaac's Cathedral

If you will ask me about my favorite place in St. Petersburg you will get my answer immediately: the Collonade of St. Isaac's Cathedral!

It's the fourth largest cathedral in the world with the 100 meters high main dome that is plated with the pure gold.

300 steps are leading to the viewing point on the collonade and the spectacular view over the city is absolutely worth every single step!
