Smolny Cathedral

Here is the beautiful building of Smolny Cathedral.

If baroque is your thing I guess you will love this white, gold and blue masterpiece that was built by the italian architect Rastrelli in the middle of 18th century.

My favorite place is on the 63-m high belltower with fascinating perspective over the city.
