Vittles (Beginning)

Hi everyone! I have spent a lot of this time this summer drawing and doing art projects I usually don't have time for in the school year, but I realized today that I have almost abandoned graphic design projects, especially UI/UX. So, before I start my last class before graduation (yay) I want to work on an app prototype and share my progress as I go on here so I can hopefully get insight from you all!

The app idea is called "Vittles" (the logo will definitely change, I haven't even started to work on it yet.) It's an app where a family will all join a group and share recipes they find online or in recipe books (using a scanner within the app.) This will encourage all family members to take responsibility in planning, cooking, and sharing meals together. It can also help with spending habits and eating better, since the users of this app will be encouraged to not go out to eat as much.

I probably won't share all of my in progress work with this app as I move forward, but here is my idea, the name, and a few color studies. Thoughts and critiques are super appreciated along the way!
