Cover concept for “The Martian” by Andy Weir

For this concept redesign of the cover I took inspiration from the film. The suit and many other space related items in the film were made out of copper so I decided to use that as the main highlight color.

The “T” in Martian is also a detailed illustration of the beautiful suit from the film.
