Heimsath Alexander - Pattern Design

I created the Maori patterns for this project, working with designer Emma Rogan, a branding expert. The patterns are modern interpretations of traditional motifs that are derived from tukutuku panels. These panels are found in buildings both old (traditional) and new (modern) and carry a lot of significance and meaning to that particular tribe.
