Animation Workshop

At Novoda, every few weeks one of the designers runs a workshop with the purpose of sharing their skills and broadening the knowledge of the entire team.

Last week, @Chris Basha ran a workshop on how to animate with After Effects and export into a format supported by Airbnb's Lottie framework, so that the animation can be ultimately used in a real app with minimal effort.

The exercise was to create a bouncy object, and it aimed at learning the basics of animation, object properties, and concepts such as keyframes and interpolations.
