San Onofre

My next big thing alongside with my work is surfing.

San Onofre (Old man’s surfing beach in California) is my “happy place” and the best surfing spot for me and my friends who share my passion. It was very sad to know that a radioactive waste of nuclear station based on this wonderful beach right next to the Pacific Ocean poisoning it. Even though, the plant is non-functional since 2012. People sign petitions, mass media have done much to elucidate the situation, but the question with the existing nuclear waste is still open.

Designers have the power to make a statement with their work. So do I. I made this illustration as my contribution to the problem observing. I believe we gonna get rid of all nuclear stations in the world in the nearest future and will keep our oceans clean.
