Sleeve Music

I remember when Microsoft showed its first concepts for Windows Phone. It felt modern and futuristic. This was back when iOS apps were still very much skeuomorphic, and Android was somewhere inbetween.

Our team spent a lot of hours on a side project called Sleeve, an app that let you discover new artists through curated playlists. I loved experimenting with new layouts and ways of interacting through pivots and panorama layouts, while seeing the platform grow with new features. In the end it never could catch up with iOS or Android, but for me it was a pretty exiting moment in time.
