Gauntlet 18
@Lindsey Charles and I have worked since January on the brand for Gauntlet, our annual student camp in Daytona Beach, FL. The phrase we kept coming back to for this year was "a pickup basketball game at the beach". We wanted it to feel vibrant, athletic, fun, and inclusive, and we let this guide our design choices.
The brand is made up of black and white palms with interacting athletic textures — like asphalt, bottoms of shoes, mesh, etc. We also pulled colors, stripes, and numbers from current athleisure style. Here is one example of that, and the extension to some signage is attached. More to come!
